W.A. Green´s Rites Set TodaySPUR (Special) Funeral services for William Andrew Green, 67, will be at 2:30 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church here with the Rev. Norris Taylor, pastor, officiating and the Rev. William L. Amos, pastor of the Northside Baptist Church in Kermit, assisting.
Burial will be in Spur Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home.
Green, a resident of Dickens County since 1915, died Sunday in the Crosbyton Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack.
Survivors include his wife; one son, W.A. of Kermit; two step-sons, James Baker of Afton and C.L. Baker of Lubbock; two step-daughters, Mrs. C.W. Harmon of Memphis, Tenn., and Mrs. Louise Berryman of Dickens; three brothers, Happy of Terrell, Furman of Lithonia, Geo., and Humpy of Spur; two sisters, Mrs. Ace Williams of Lingleville and Mrs. A.M. Wimberty of Stephenville; three grandchildren; 15 step-grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.
