Services for Jerry Graves, 70, of Spur were held 2:00 pm, Thursday, August 5, 2004 at the Community Bible Chapel with Pastors Bob Wright and Ross Spencer officiating. Burial was under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.
Mr. Graves died August 3, 2004.
He was born March 29, 1934 to Vernon and Beulah Hindman Graves in Spur.
He married Sherrie Branch in Lubbock on June 24, 1976. Mr. Graves moved to Lubbock for a time before he and Sherrie moved back to Spur nine years ago.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Graves.
He is survived by his wife, of Spur, 3 daughters; Maria Ford and Debra Gardner of Arlington, and Lisa McShan of Rendon; 7 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
He is remembered as a fantastic artist, beloved husband an father who will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the American Heart Association or the American Kidney Foundation.
