Obituary

Services for Joe Jefferson Gibson, 71, were at graveside June 21, 1990 in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Calvin Blanscet, Amarillo and Rev. bill Fee, Cisco, officiating.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Gibson died June 19 in Wilbarger General Hospital in Vernon. He was born November 22, 1918 in Dickens County. He lived most of his life in Dickens and Kent Counties before moving to Vernon in 1981.

Survivors include three sisters, Ora Lee Blackwood, Vernon; Gertie Gatliff, San Saba and Nina White, Trinity; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
