Manuela Garza, 92, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2010, in Lubbock, Texas. She was born on March 10, 1918, to Antonio and Monica Mosqueda in Donna, Texas. Manuela was a longtime member of the Guadalupana Society and St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Manuela is survived by one son, Jesus Rivas of Lubbock, Texas; one sister, Felizana Ramos of Plainview, Texas; and three brothers, Rumaldo Mosqueda of Spur, Texas, and Juan Mosqueda and Susano Mosqueda, both of Olton, Texas. Manuela is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
Manuela was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Monica Mosqueda; her husband, Pablo Garza; and a daughter, Margarita D. Lara.
Services for Manuela Garza will be Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Spur, Texas, at 1 p.m. with Father Joe officiating under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Spur Memorial Cemetery.
