Nina Gaines Graveside services for Nina Grace Gaines, 83, of 1515 E. Kent Rd. in Lubbock will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Spur Cemetery.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. at First Christian Church of Spur and at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Chruch of Lubbock with the Rev. Charles A. Taylor and Dr. Bill Chapman, both of First Presbyterian Church, and the Rev. John Nay of Spur officiating.

Burial will be in Spur Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.

Nina Gaines The Hico native married Frank Gaines December 6, 1975, in Stamford. The couple moved to Lubbock the same year. She moved to Dickens County in 1911 and attended Spur schools. She was a teacher in Spur and was employed as a clerk for the Soil Conservation Service in Spur from 1943 to 1952. She worked for the Farmer´s Home Administration in Spur from 1952 until her retirement in 1968.

She was a Presbyterian. Survivors include her husband, a sister, Hen Grace Williams of Boerne, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Clarence Oldham, Charlie Sherrod, J. Roy Quinby, Charlie Morris, J.B. Morrison, Bill Barrett, Eric Swenson and John F. Moore.
