Obituary

Graveside services for Vergie Faye Franklin, 69, Spur, were held on Friday, June 10, 1994 at 3 p.m. in the Spur Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Bob Wright officiating. Services under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home, Spur.

Mrs. Franklin died on June 9, 1994 at 9:20 a.m. in the Spur Care Center due to natural causes.

She was born April 23, 1925 in Tennessee Colony, Texas. She had been a resident of Dickens County and Spur during her childhood and most recently for the past seven years. She was retired from Fairchild Corporation in Santa Clara, California after 29 years of service. She was a member of the Spur Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include two brothers, Lonnie Alexander, Nixa, Missouri and Flavious Alexander, Spur.

Pallbearers include Dalvin Alexander, Zeb Alexander, Bucky Phelps, Ben Phelps, Gabe Phelps, and Todd Davis.
