Nell Marie Fox, 72, of Lubbock, died Wednesday, October 10, 2007. Services will be 2 PM, Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Spur Memorial Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Rory Mosley officiating. Services are under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.Nell was born November 27, 1934 in Clinton, OK to Robert and Ruby Ennis Kelley. She married Donald Karr in 1955. He preceded her in death January 4, 2003. Nell was a homemaker for most of her life, raising seven children whom she loved dearly. In her later years she was a devoted hardworking employee for the Lubbock State School Day Care.
She is survived by two daughters, Ruby Karr of Spur and Louise Karr of Calhoun, GA; five sons, Terry Karr of Memphis, TN, Keith Karr of Jayton, David Karr of Spur, James Karr of Dayton, OH and Robert Karr of Guthrie; two brothers, Donald Kelley of Tuttle,OK and Bob Kelley of Niceville, FL; two sisters, Dorothy Hill of Stanton, CA and Donna Phillip of Long Beach, CA; and three grandchildren.
Nell was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.
In honor of her love for children, the family suggests donations to the Lubbock Children's Home, P.O. Box 2824, Lubbock, TX 79408.
