W.E. Fletcher Died Saturday Afternoon At Home In Spur

W.E. Fletcher died Saturday afternoon at six o´clock at his home in Spur following a protracted illness of cancer of the liver and from which he suffered much and no doubt death was a welcome relief to him. His body was buried Sunday in the Spur Cemetery.

W.E. Fletcher and family came to Spur from Stephens county in 1911, having lived here seventeen years at the time of his death.

W.E. Fletcher was a good and substantial citizen, and a man of highest character.

The Texas Spur extends sincere sympathy to the family in this hour of their greatest bereavement.
