Funeral services for Elizabeth Margaret Fitzgerald, 20, were held Saturday afternoon, April 7, 1984, at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Spur. Rev. Norris Taylor of Stinnett, formerly of Spur, officiated.
Miss Fitzgerald, a student at West Texas State University, Canyon died April 5 about 7 p.m. in High Plains Baptist Hospital, Amarillo, following a brief illness.
Born February 24, 1964 at South Ruislip AFB, England, she was a graduate of Spur High School class of 1982. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She had served as Sweetheart of the Spur Lions Club. She had been a resident of Spur since 1965, coming here from England.
Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benny Fitzgerald, Spur; a brother, David, a senior in Spur High School and one sister, Audrey, a freshman in Spur High School; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Fitzgerald, Spur.
Pallbearers included Mac Driggers, Joe Kidd, Fred Neaves, Wayne Roberts, Jim Arnold and Woodie McArthur.
