Ferris Funeral Held in Spur

Henry Ferris, born March 22, 1855 in Dallas County, Texas, died February 15, 1940 at his residence in Spur.

Mr. Ferris was 84 years, 10 months and 24 days old at the time of death. His wife preceded him in death some years ago.

He is survived by a son, C.D. and a daughter, Mrs. G.W. Rutledge of Spur and other relatives.

Funeral services were conducted at the Ward Chapel in Spur, at 4:30 p.m. Friday, February 16, by Bro. Bilberry.

Interment was made in the Spur Cemetery, under the direction of Ward Funeral Home.
