Graveside services for Vera Jane Ensey, 80, of Irving were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002 at Spur Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Harbison officiating. Services were under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.

She died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2002, in Irving.

Mrs. Ensey was born May 10, 1922, in Pauls Valley, OK, to Ernest A. and Myrtle Belle Collins Roberson. She attended school in Crosbyton. She married Richard L. Ensey. He preceded her in death in 1960. She lived in Spur from 1940 until moving to Lubbock in 1964. She was employed at Briercroft Bank in Lubbock for several years. She moved to Irving in 2001. She was a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by a one son, Alan, in 1994 and two brothers.

She is survived by two sons, Wayne Ensey of Granbury and Steve Ensey of Fort Worth; a daughter, Janie Stockdaile of Irving; a brother, Ernest Roberson of Crosbyton; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; and special friend Leon Watson.
