Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Rosie Lee Elmore, 69, were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the East Hill Street Church of Christ, C.V. Allen officiating.

Mrs. Elmore died in the Crosbyton Hospital last Friday, April 10., She was a member of the Church of Christ and moved to Dickens County from Kent County in 1949.

Survivors include two sons, J.L., Spur and Vester, Westmoreland, CA; two daughters, Mrs. Elsie Harris and Mrs. Effie Lee Copeland, both of Westmoreland, CA; one brother, Howard Underwood, Spur. Fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren survive. Pallbearers included Frank Hale, Ed Denson, Louis Williams, Wilson Hagins, Allen Gatlin and Elmer Thomason.

Burial was in the Spur Cemetery.
