Infant son of Mr. And Mrs. Billy Elliott Died

William James Elliott, infant son of Mr. And Mrs. Billy Elliott , died at 1:20 a.m. Saturday, July 4th at the Nichols Sanitarium in Spur.

The infant was born at 10 a.m. Friday, July 3rd, having lived only 15 hours and 20 minutes.

Rev. John A. Winslow of Lubbock officiated at the funeral services held in the Spur Episcopal Church at 3:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Interment was made in Spur cemetery with Campbell Funeral Chapel in charge.

Near relatives from out of town here to be with Mrs. Elliott and attend the funeral rites were her mother, Mrs. James Bright, of Christal City; Mr. And Mrs. Harley Terry and children, of Dallas; Mr. And Mrs. Lassater Hensley and daughters, Margaret and Jean, of Guthrie; Miss Virginia Elliott of Lubbock; Mr. And Mrs.Claude Pettigrew; Mr. And Mrs. Cecil Pettigrew and Mrs. Cecil Smith, of Petersburg and Mrs. Gordon Bright of Lubbock.
