Obituary

Graveside services were held here Tuesday at 2 p.m., for Mrs. Edna Connell Edmonds, 87, a former resident of Spur.

Rev. Norris Taylor, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiated.

Mrs. Edmonds died in Grand Prairie May 31 following a lengthy illness.

Survivors include two sons, Karl F. Edmonds, Kilgore and E. C. Edmonds, Jr., Guadalajara, Mexico; two sisters, Mrs. Jep Reese, Beaumont and Mrs. Clarence Miller, Dallas. Seven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren also survive.
