Services were conducted March 9, at 3 p.m. in the Methodist Church for Mrs. Lela Driggers.

Rev. Cal C. Wright officiated.

Mrs. Driggers was born at Emory, Texas, April 10, 1903 and came to Dickens County in 1919. She married O.L. Driggers, January 4, 1920 and made her home in Duck Creek. She died March 8.

Pallbearers were Vernon Gregory, Jessie Hagins, Jack Simmons, Earnest Durham, Jack Rector and Emmet Hagins.

Survivors include her husband, O.L. Driggers; sisters and brothers, Mrs. Esther Edge, J.D. Ayres, L.A. Ayres, Marshall Ayres, Mrs. T.E. Dickerson, Mrs. Syble Porter, and Mary Lou Roberts, who was reared by the Driggers.

Interment was in the Spur Cemetery with Campbell's Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Otis Driggers, a retired Spur farmer, were held Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. in the First Methodist Church. Rev. William McReynolds, officiating.

Mr. Driggers died in the veterans hospital in Big Spring on Friday, following a lengthy illness. He farmed in the Duck Creek community after coming to Dickens County in 1915. He had resided in Spur since 1941. He was a member of the Methodist Church and a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gracie Driggers, Spur; four step-sons and two step-daughters. They are Christine Hurst, Costa Mesa, CA and Mary Adcock, Afton; Thomas L. Pearson, Kenneth Pearson, and Roger Pearson, all of Roswell, NM, Larry Pearson, Spur; one sister, Mrs. Mozelle Porter, Waurika, OK; two half-brothers, Bud Harwick and Frank Harwick, both of California; two half-sisters, Mrs. Johnson Price and Mrs. Ruth Bryant, both of Ringilang, OK.

Pallbearers were D. H. Simmons, Jr., Jack Simmons, George Simmons, Harold Simmons, Phil Simmons and Jay Austin.

Burial was in Spur Cemetery.
