Obituary

U.S.Flag   Services for Henry Lafayette Dozier, 78, of Spur, were at 2 p.m. August 19, 1992, in the First Baptist Church, Spur.

Church pastor Rev. Genoa Goad, officiated; Rev. Dale Dozier, Midland, assisted.

Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Dozier died about 10 p.m. August 17 in St. Mary of the Plains Hospital, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Erath County but had lived most of his life in Spur. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a self employed cement contractor. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include one brother, William Dozier, Spur; two sisters, Ehtel Jo Owens, Girard and Nellie Owens, New Deal; several nieces and nephews.

Nephews served as pallbearers.
