Services for Lela Senn Dobbs, 85, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2001 at the First Baptist Church of Spur with the Rev. Billy Smith and the Rev. Richard Harbison officiating. Burial will be in Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.She died Monday, March 26 at Covenant Medical Center, in Lubbock.
She was born Aug. 7, 1915, in Silverton, TX. She married Virgil Senn on May 11, 1935, in Kent County, TX. He preceded her in death March 13, 1963. She then married Johnnie Dobbs on May 9, 1975, in Tahoka. He preceded her in death Jan. 1, 2000. She was a beautician and a homemaker. She was a member of the Spur Art Guild and was a Baptist.
Survivors include three daughters, Reba Wade of Lubbock, Bregetta Vaughn of Paintsville, Ky., and Katrina Korpeck of Rochester, N.Y.; two stepsons, Jerry and Larry Dobbs, both of Lubbock; a stepdaughter, Jolene Kane of Tucson, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
