Graveside services for Addie Jo Dismukes, Mabank were held at 10 a.m. Monday in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Dr. Genoa Goad, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating.Services were held at 2 p.m. June 2, 1990 in Mabank at Eubank Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Dismukes was born in Portales, NM on February 26, 1908. She spent her early life in Spur but had lived in Mabank for the past 20 years. She died in Kaufman on June 1, 1990.
She was the owner/operator of shoe stores. She was married to Wylie Dismukes and he died in August of 1968. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include two brothers: J.B. Morrison, Spur and Jesse Morrison, Abernathy; two sisters, Florine Morgan, Amarillo and Velma Spradling, Pearland.
Pallbearers included Wilburn Ball, R.J. Bell, Elmer McCombs, Travis Hoover, Eric Swenson, Al O´Brien, Vernon Wright and Bunk Garner.
