Juan DeLeon photoRosary for Juan DeLeon will be held on Friday, 3-25-2016 at 6pm at Zapata Funeral Home in Spur. A celebration of Life Services officiated by his nephew�s Roy and Oscar Baladez will be held at St. Mary�s Catholic Church Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 2:30pm.

Juan died Tuesday, March 22, 2016. He was born on June 18, 1934 in Waco Texas to Francisco and Maria DeLeon. He was a lifelong member to the Catholic Church. He married Mary Martinez on November 14, 1956 in Dickens TX. He enjoyed spending time with his family doing outdoor activities while listening to his favorite music. He consumed his retirement time gardening and sharing his overabundance of surplus with the community. He was preceded in death by his son John Henry DeLeon, Step-daughter Helen Reyes , parents Francisco DeLeon and Maria Delacruz, brothers, Domingo Baladez, George Valdez, Jimmy Valdez, and his sister, Sofia Alanis DeLeon. He is survived by his wife Mary, daughters, Linda Kay Blackburn (Doug) of Spur, TX, Lydia DeLeon (Kelly) of Idalou, TX Grandchildren, Stephanie Ho-Gland (William) of Idalou TX, Jason Parrish (Crystal) of Spur TX, Jacob DeLeon of Lubbock TX, Anthony DeLeon of Lubbock TX, Abby Sexton of Idalou TX. Great grandchildren; Landen Leyva of Idalou TX, Gage Parrish of Idalou TX, Avary DeLeon of Post TX, Cynthia Alvarado of Odessa TX, Joey Alvarado of Snyder TX Siblings; Brother Felix DeLeon of Lampasas TX, and Sister Georgia Loya of Abilene TX He had many nieces and nephew
