Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie Jane Dean 87, were held Monday at the First Baptist Church, Rev. Norris Taylor officiating.

Mrs. Dean had been a resident of Dickens County since 1917. She died Oct. 7 in the Crosbyton Hospital.

Survivors include four sons, M.C. Powell, Spur; A.W. Powell, Jacksboro; W.L. Powell, Corcoran, Calif.; D.C. Powell, Grants, NM; one daughter, Mrs. Viola Chamblee, Fresno, Calif.; two brothers, Jess Griffith, San Angelo; Isom Griffith, Austin; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Cartwright, San Angelo; and Mrs. Lee Fiveash, San Angelo; 38 grandchildren.

Pallbearers included D.J. Dyess, C.W. Barclay, Albert Sprayberry, Jack Kennedy, Don Condron and R.J. Bell.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery.
