Funeral services for Stella Morrow Day, 71, were held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Spur, with Rev. Sam Simmons, Church pastor, officiating.

Mrs. Day died about 6:20 p.m. at her home in Spur. Death was ruled by natural causes. She had lived in Spur for 52 years, moving here from Afton. The former Stella Drennon, she was born in Harris in 1912. She was a realtor, a member of the Baptist Church and the Spur Art Guild.

Survivors include one son, Thurman Morrow, Levelland; one daughter, Bobbie Harrison, Knox City; four brothers, Gus Drennon, Ralls; Luther Drennon, Ulysses, Kansas; Robert Drennon, Kermit; and Paul Drennon, Hemphill; four sisters, Gertrude Duncan, Meadow; Clara Ragland, Afton; Lola Robinson, Levelland; and Gladys Gelles, Conemaugh, PA; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Armon Fitzgerald, Benny Fitzgerald, Eric Swenson, Morris Collett, James Wright and Gary Alston.

Interment was in the Spur Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.
