Mrs. Etta G. Day Died at Home of Daughter in Spur

Funeral services were held Thursday morning at 10 o´clock at the Presbyterian church, conducted by Mr. Fred Caires the Presbyterian minister and Rev. E.L. Yeates, pastor of the Methodist church of Spur, for Mrs. Etta Georgia Day, who died Wednesday evening at 8 o´clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Taylor, her daughter, with whom she made her home.

Born at Brenham, Texas, April 3, 1878. Moving to Jones county, Texas at an early age, where she was married to N.B. Day, April 16, 1893. Two years following her marriage, she with her husband united with the Methodist Church.

One child, Alene, was born to this union. Her husband preceded her in death, having passed away in 1921. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. R. A. Taylor; one sister, Mrs. Belle McDuff and one brother Mr. Estes.
