  Funeral services were held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church for Lewis Green Davis, 60, a Spur rancher. Rev. John Nay, pastor of the First Christian Church officiated, assisted by Rev. John Floyd, Kermit.

Mr. Davis died October 21 in a Lubbock hospital. He had resided in Dickens County all his life. He was a member of the First Christian Church and was a veteran of WW2.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Nellie Davis, Spur; two brothers, Lee Davis, Post and John A. Davis, Chattanooga, Tenn..

Pallbearers included Robert Hall Davis, Lee W. Davis, Jr., Keith Davis, Biff Davis, Sol Davis.

Honorary pallbearers included Glen Smith, Luther Jones, Graden Bass, Everett Martin, Rip Garner, Bunk Garner, Robert Forbis, Cecil Fox, W.R. Jimison and Ford Taylor.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery.
