Services for Rachel Daugherty, 77, of Spur were held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2003 at the Hwy. 70 Church of Christ with the Rev. Bob Martin officiating. Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home. Mrs. Daugherty died Monday, March 31, 2003.

Mrs. Daugherty was born September 30, 1925 to Claude and Albina Brouillette Rainey in Campbell, Nebraska. She married Jesse Daugherty II in Las Cruces, New Mexico on July 6, 1943. Mrs. Daugherty had lived in the Spur area since 1943.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, 1 sister and a daughter

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Jesse Daugherty III and Frank Daugherty, both of Spur; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
