David R. Curry, age 63, pioneer citizen of Spur died Tuesday at 12:20 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mendenhall, where he had been taken after a six weeks stay in a local hospital, where he had received treatment for dropsy and carbuncle.Funeral services were held at Wards Funeral Home in Spur at 9:30 o'clock Wednesday morning, with the Rev. R.C. Joiner, minister of the First Baptist Church, Spur, officiating.
Pallbearers were Bob Fox, Andrew Green, Vascoe H. Ward and (article cut off here).
