Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Addie Culbert, 63, were held July 2, in the First Methodist Church, Rev. John A. Rakestraw officiating. He was assisted by C. V. Allen, Church of Christ preacher.

Mrs. Culbert, a resident of Dickens county since 1912, died in Spur Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Survivors include her husband, J. A. Culbert; a daughter, Mrs. J. F. Worley, Andrews; 3 sons, James, El Paso, Ross, Farmington, NM and Leonard of Quanah; a sister, Mrs. Prudence Peacock, Vallejo, CA and two half brothers, Clyde Langford, Crowell and Claude Langford, Seminole.

Pallbearers were Marshall Powell, R. Z. Chisum, Elmer Cross, Curtis Childress, Ralph Worley and Jimmy Worley.

Interment was in the Spur Cemetery.

Funeral services for James Arthur Culbert, 79, a retired farmer, were held December 27 in the First Methodist Church. Rev. Clarence Stephens officiated.

Mr. Culbert died at his home on December 23. He had been a resident of Dickens County since 1910. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Worley, Andrews; three sons, Leonard, James and Ross Culbert; one sister, Mrs. Una Starr, 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers included John Alvin, R.Z. Chisum, R.C. Green, Bob Crawford, Guy Karr and Bunk Garner.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery , Campbell's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
