Carolyn Louise Creswell

Funeral services for Carolyn Louise Creswell, 37, were held Tuesday, at 2 p.m., at the Highway Church of Christ with minister Doug Williams, officiating.

Mrs. Creswell died in Methodist Hospital about 8:30 a.m. Sunday following a lengthy illness. A resident of Slaton at the time of her death, she had lived most of her life in Spur and was a graduate of Spur High School. She was a housewife and a member of the Church of Christ.

She was born April 28, 1946 in Afton and married Ferrell Creswell April 16, 1983 at Possum Kingdom Lake.

Survivors include her husband of Slaton; her mother, Bea Holloway, Spur; her step-father, Doyle Holloway, Spur; two brothers, Charles Rainbolt and Gary Rainbolt, both of Spur; one sister, Pat Baker, Lubbock; her grandmother, Mrs. T.D. Moore, Spur

Cousins will serve as pallbearers.

Burial was in the Spur Cemetery with a Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
