  Graveside services for Pat Copeland, 72, of Spur were at 10 a.m. Friday, September 14, 2001 in Spur Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Burton officiating. Services were under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home of Spur.

He died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2001.

Mr. Copeland was born Oct. 20, 1928, in Dickens County. He graduated from Spur High School. He served in Korea with the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Spur VFW.

He is survived by one niece, Jeannie Moore, and one nephew, J. B. Moore, both of Spur.
