Services for Ella Copeland, 70, of Midland and formerly of Spur, were held Saturday, January 8, 2005 at First United Methodist Church in Spur with Rev. Larry Burton officiating. Burial followed in Spur Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.
She died Tuesday, January 4, 2005 in Midland.
Ella was born December 6, 1934 in Spur to Marcus and Evelyn Draper Copeland. She was a retired florist and a Methodist.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Craig and Christi Blackwell of Lubbock and Britt and Debbie Blackwell of Nebraska; one daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Jayme Kujawski of Midland; one brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Marcia Copeland of Bentonville, Ark.; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-7 p.m. Friday.
The family suggests memorials be made to Home Hospice, 901 Missouri, Midland, TX 79701.
