Dickens Woman Buried Sunday
Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Etta Cooks, 36, were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 pm. In the Lake Side Baptist Church with Rev. A. Todd officiating.Mrs. Cooks died last Wednesday, April 15, in Spur Memorial Hospital. She was a resident of Dickens, having moved there in the Fall of 1963.
She is survived by her husband, Nelson Cooks, Dickens; two daughters, Geraldine Rose, Tahoka and Genetta Simpson, Tahoka; one son, Peter Robinson, Waco and a sister, Ruth F. Gonaway, Hearne.
Burial was in Spur Cemetery.
