Services were held at 2 p.m. February 27, 1992 in the First Baptist Church, Spur, for Edna Mae Cook, 87. Rev. Genoa Goad, pastor, officiated.

Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Cook died February 25, 1992 in the Crosbyton Clinic Hospital. She was born January 24, 1905 in Haskell and had lived in Spur since 1948. A homemaker, she was a member of the Baptist Church.

She married Andrew Westley Cook on January 20, 1925 in Afton. He preceded her in death June 15, 1982.

Survivors include one daughter, Louise Lindsey, Spur; one sister, Myrtle Carothers, Afton; two grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. One grandchild, Carolyn Hyatt, preceded her in death October 12, 1991.
