Harvey Collier Passed Away Saturday 21st.
Funeral services for H.R. Collier were held at the Presbyterian Church, Saturday, Dec. 21, at 2 p.m. Rev. John Ramsey officiated. Interment was in the Spur Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge.Death occurred early Saturday morning at the Collier home, two miles east of Spur, caused by a stroke of paralysis.
Harvey Richard Collier was born Dec. 29, 1905 at Weinert, TX, son of Mr. and Mrs. T.W. Collier.
He was married to Miss Lola E. Horn at Wilson, OK, August 11, 1928 and to this union were born three children: Harvey P., Carol June, and John Thomas Collier.
Mr. and Mrs. Collier and children moved to Dickens Co. in 1933 and have lived near Spur since that time.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lola Collier, two sons, his father, T.W. Collier, three brothers, Peter Collier of Spur, Dick of San Antonio and Claude of Abilene and four daughters: Opal Guffey, Munday; Ruby Walsworth, Spur, Marjorie Chance, Little Rock, and Mrs. Amalie Harris of Munday.
