Funeral services for Mrs. Othetta Joy Clinkscales were held in the First Baptist Church Friday, April 25, with Rev. Riley Fugitt officiating.

Mrs. Clinkscales was found dead in her home on April 23. Mr. and Mrs. Clinkscales came to Dickens County in 1940. He served as rural mail carrier until he was retired on October 31, 1957. He had been in the postal service for 37 years.

Pallbearers were W.D. Blair, Jr., M.H. Costolow, R.A. Gilcrease, G.W. Grimes, Marion Jordan and Guy Karr.

Interment was in Spur Cemetery.
