Jesse Childers, 61, of Crosbyton went to be with his Lord on October 16, 2014. He was born June 29, 1953 to Joe Lee and Ivra Mae Tolliver Childers in Spur, Texas. Jesse loved to work and loved everyone and would do anything for anybody. He loved his family and would get the most out of life every day.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister Ida Lee Childers, one brother; Harl Lee Childers.
Jesse is survived by four sisters; Annie Faye Walker of Spur, Lula Faye Childers of Lubbock, Linda Wright of Lubbock, Brenda Barnes of Lubbock, four brothers; Joe Lee Childers Jr. of Spur, L.C. Childers of Spur, Louis Lee Childers of Crosbyton, and Bobby Joe Childers of Crosbyton.
Memorial Services will be held Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Crosbyton. Burial will follow in the Spur Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
