Gloria Childers

Gloria Jean Childers 57, of Lubbock, Texas went to be with the Lord Wednesday December 18, 2013. She was born July 6, 1956 in Spur, Texas. Gloria was a lifelong member of Lakeside Baptist Church in Spur, Texas. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

Gloria is survived by her children; Cory Childers of Lubbock, Texas; Tamara Childers of Lubbock, Texas; Lanika Green of Midland, Texas and Harl Lee Childers of Lubbock, Texas. She is also survived by Two sisters; Lenetta Richardson of Wichita falls, Texas; Dorothy Scarlett Sapp of Lubbock, Texas; One brother Cal Walker of Spur, Texas and Nine Grandchildren.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday December 23, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Spur, Texas with Rev. Wilson Perry officiating under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Spur Memorial Cemetery.
