Funeral Services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church for Don Lee Caplinger, 27, of Riverside, CA. Rev. Norris Taylor officiated assisted by Rev. Billy Smith, Lubbock.

Caplinger was born in Dickens County in 1947 and made his home here until 1952. He had resided in California for the past two years.

Survivors include one daughter, Dawn, Riverside and his parents, Mr. And Mrs. Ernest Caplinger, Lubbock, one brother, Gary Lynn Caplinger, Lubbock and one sister, Debra Kay Caplinger, Lubbock.

Pallbearers included Mike Caplinger, Johnny Holbrook, Jerry Shelton, Danny Belah, Rodney Hogan and Jimmy Pickens.

Burial was in the Spur Cemetery.
