Services Held here Sunday for Mrs. Calvert, 88

Mrs. Hettie Anne Calvert, 88 was buried here Sunday following funeral services in the First Methodist Church. She died Saturday. Rev. John Rakestraw, pastor, officiated. Interment was in Spur Cemetery.

Mrs. Calvert first came to Dickens County in 1916. She was married to J.M. Calvert in Erath County in 1888.

One brother, T.J. Long, Altus, OK, survives along with nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She has lived with Mrs. Thelma Calvert, her daughter-in-law for the past 15 years. Her husband preceded her in death. Pallbearers were Coy Dopson, Lon Bass, Ivay McMahan, Joe Kidd, Jay Austin and Turner Harris.
