Mrs. Butler

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday in the Spur Church of Christ for Chlora "Texas" Butler, 67; Jim Chism, minister, officiating.

Mrs. Butler died in an Abilene Hospital on July 18. She lived in Spur from about 1910 to 1965 when she moved to Abilene. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Olan Butler, Abilene; one daughter, Mrs. Irene Hudson, Lone Star; one son, Jessie Ray Pernell, Daugherty; her mother, Mrs. Cora Lewis, Jayton; one sister, Cleo Chesney, Dickens and one brother, Thurman Lewis, Dickens. Four grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.

Palbearers were Dewey Dement, Wallace Day, Henry Edwards, William Butler, Jimmy Rainbolt, and Billy Ray Barrett.

Burial was in the Spur cemetery.
