Obituary

Services for Robert Bradshaw, 58, of Spur, were at 2 p.m. December 16, 1991 in the First United Methodist church with Rev. Kenney Kirk, church pastor, officiating.

Burial was in Spur memorial Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home.

Mr. Bradshaw died about 12:43 a.m. on December 14, in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital following a sudden illness.

He was born in Wilson but had lived in Spur since 1951, coming here from Levelland. He married Helen Donnelle Young on July 7, 1958 in Spur.

He was a stock farmer and had worked in the boll weevil program for 21 years. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Dickens County Sheriff´s Posse.

Survivors include his wife; two brothers, Doyle Bradshaw of Lubbock and Don Bradshaw of Abilene; one sister, Jean Zimmerman, Albuquerque, NM; his mother, Leta Ticer of Spur.

Pallbearers included Charlie Arrington, Jack Condron, Don Condron, Duane Durham, Don Hill and C.P. Harris.

Helen Donnelle Bradshaw, 72, of Spur, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2008. She was born November 29, 1935 in Girard, to Dean Jay Young and Mary Frances Duke Young. Donnelle graduated from Girard High School and attended Abilene Christian University and Texas Tech University. She married Robert Bradshaw in Spur on July 7, 1958.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents, Dean and Mary; one brother Joe E. Young.

She is survived by two brothers, Al Young of Killeen and C.B. Young of Lubbock; nieces, Mary Serior, Kayla Dietz and Teresa Cormier; nephews, John Young, Dennis Young and Kerry Young.

Graveside services were held April 1, 2008 at Spur Memorial Cemetery with Keith Cormier officiating. Services were under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home.
