Resided at Sipes Springs, Comanche Co., moved from Comanche to Swenson Ranch and then to Spur around 1912.
Graveside services for Stonewall B. Boykin, 62, were held at 3 p.m. July 26, 1949 in the Spur Cemetery, with Rev. C.V. Allen officiating.Boykin is a retired Dickens County farmer who had made his home near Spur for 33 years. He was born in Leon County, Texas on July 23, 1887. He died at 11 p.m. July 24, of a heart attack. Boykin was married to Bobbie Hankins in 1885 in Comanche County.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bobbie Boykin of Spur; three sons, Dick of Spur; Edward of Port Arthur; and Jim of Salina, Kansas; one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Cooner of Spur; and three sisters, Mrs. Annie Jay of Porman, Texas, Mrs. Emely Jones of DeLeon and Mrs. Ollie Hale of Littlefield. There are also 5 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Chester Lindsey, John Blakley, Dee McArthur, Pat Robinson, Hule Duncan and Oscar Crafton.
The Chandler Funeral Home was in charge of the services.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bobbie Austin Boykin, 82, were held Monday at the Spur Church of Christ, C.V. Allen officiating, assisted by Robert Bankhead.Mrs. Boykin came to Dickens Co. in 1916. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was born in Comanche County on June 26, 1877.
She is survived by two sons, Jim Boykin, Salina, Kansas; J.B. Boykin Groves, TX and Mrs. T.C. Cooner, Spur.
Five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.
Pallbearers were Melvin Rankin, Guy Goen, T.B. Watson, W.T. Williams, Earl Thomason and O.L. Kelley.
Interment was in Spur Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
