Obituary

Graveside services for Ruth McKnight Bonds, 96, of Fort Worth, were at 2 p.m. Sept. 12, in Spur Memorial Cemetery.

Rev. Genoa Goad, pastor of First Baptist church, Spur officiated.

Mrs. Bonds died September 9, 1993 following a lengthy illness in Fort Worth. She was a long time resident of Ft. Worth and a former employee of the Fort Worth Star Telegram.

Her husband, Sam preceded her in death in 1973. Two sisters also preceded her in death; Beatrice McKnight and Vashti Campbell.

Cousins and friends are the only survivors. Cousins include Patsy Smart, Edna Callett Smith, Morris Collett and Nell Luker, both of Dallas; Elton Rip Garner, Betty Jones, and J.B. Morrison all of Spur and Jesse Morrison of Abernathy.
