Spurgeon Rogers Bingham, 90, formerly of Spur, Texas went to meet Jesus Oct.29, 2009. He was born April 6, 1919, in Rule, Haskell County, Texas to Thomas O. and Fannie Bingham. Rogers. He worked for Swift & Co, Meadow Gold Ice Cream and eventually the Dickens Electric Co-Op, where he retired. Survivors include his wife, Mae Bingham of Plano, Texas; children, Jane Wiggerly of Moore, Oklahoma and Nancy Price of Plano, Texas; grandchildren Suzie King of Amarillo, Texas, Tammy Bugg of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Carol Andreescu of Murphy, Texas, Robert Wiggerly of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Rebecca Birmingham of Lakeway, Texas; great-grandchildren Krishna and Kameron Walker, Justin and Blythe Bugg, Eden Demaree, and Josephyne Andreescu; one great-great grandchild Kerigan Bugg.
Pallbearer will be Shane King, Mike Andreescue, Greg Birmingham, Bobby Wiggerly, Dwane Green, and Dennis Bingham.
A Celebration of Life will take place 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Spur, Texas under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Spur Cemetery Association.

Services for Mae Gannon Bingham, 91, formerly of Spur were held at First Baptist Church in Spur, TX on Friday, November 11 at 2pm.
Mrs. Bingham was born August 6, 1920 in Afton, Dickens County, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Gannon. She married S. Rogers Bingham on November 30, 1939 in Dickens. She was a faithful Christian homemaker, selfless and compassionate to all who were in need. She joined her husband Rogers, her parents, and many other loved ones in Heaven with her Lord Jesus on November 8, 2011.
Survivors include two daughters, Jane Wiggerly of Moore, OK, and Nancy Price of Plano, TX; grandchildren Suzie King of Amarillo, TX, Tammy Bugg of Kalamazoo, MI, Carol Andreescu of Murphy, TX, Robert Wiggerly of Moore, OK, and Rebecca Birmingham of Killeen, TX; great-grandchildren Krishna and Kameron Walker, Justin and Blythe Bugg, Eden Demaree, Josephyne Andreescu, and Cash Birmingham; great-great grandchild Kerigan Bugg.
Arrangements by Campbell Funeral Home, Spur. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to the Spur Cemetery Association.
