Bill Bingham Buried On Monday
William Bingham, 22 died at a Lubbock Sanitarium Sunday afternoon May 12, of acute case of appendicitis. He was carried there on Tuesday for an operation which was performed but doctors gave him very little hopes from the first."Bill" as he was known among his friends was born in Arkansas, June 17, 1913, and moved with his family here in November, 1928.
Two years ago he was married to Miss Vera Parker, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.J. Parker. Other than the widow he is survived by a seven month old son Harley Gean; his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. W. W. Bingham, Spur; brothers, J.B. (Bird), Ray, Mer, Cephus, and J.C. of Spur and George Bingham of Jefferson, OK, who was here for the funeral; a sister, Mrs. Mattie Edmion of CA.
Funeral services were held at Spur Cemetery Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. James Vise of Jayton.
Funeral director, Webber Williams was in charge.
Pallbearers were Noah Dennis, Hugh Dennis, Lester Garner, Geroge Brown, Herman Day and Woodrow Day.
