Funeral services for R.A. Berry, age 61, former resident of Spur, were conducted at 3 p.m. at the First Methodist Church, Spur, with Rev. Floyd Dawson, Lubbock and Rev. L.L. Hill of Spur officiating.Interment was in the Spur Cemetery under the direction of Plains Funeral Home, Lubbock.
Mr. Berry had resided in Spur until 1939, when he moved to Lubbock to make his home.
He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Ava Fortenberry, Lubbock and five sisters, Mrs. Ray Murphy, Ark., Mrs. Nell Bingham, Dallas; Mrs. W.W. Ogden, Rotan; Mary Cook, Rotan; and Mrs. Gaye Williams, Spur; six brothers, John of Bluff Dale; H.P. of Spur; Fate of Dallas; Hugh of Houston; James of Rotan and Frank of Fort Worth
