Lived in Kent County for 14 years, since 1891, moved to Dickens County in 1941.

Robert Beadle
Funeral services are scheduled at 2 p.m. today, Thursday, October 26, in the Assembly of God church for Robert Gibbons Beadle, 87 (Bud); Rev. Perry Sheffield, church pastor will officiate.

A retired farmer, Mr. Beadle died at his home of an apparent heart attack at 10 a.m. Tuesday Oct. 24. He came to Kent County in 1891, but moved to Dickens Co. in 1941 and had made his home here since then.

He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mr. Iler Beadle, Spur; three sons, Wayne of Spur; L.D., Plainview and Raymond, Lubbock; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers; Guinn, Buddy, Ralph, DyWayne Beadle, Claddie Brooks and Elroy Brooks.

Funeral services for Mrs. Iler Bell Beadle, 87, were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Assembly of God church here. Rev. Tim Anderson, pastor officiated. He was assisted by Rev. Norris Taylor, pastor of First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Beadle died Dec. 12 in Methodist Hospital Lubbock. She had been a resident of Dickens County since 1941 and was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by three sons, Wayne, Spur; L.D. Plainview, Raymond, Lubbock; 15 grandchildren, 32 great grands.

Grandsons served as pallbearers. Burial was in the Spur Cemetery.
