U.S.Flag     Services for Raymond Gibbens Beadle, 66, Charlotte, NC were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 24, in the First Baptist church, Spur, with Dr. Genoa Goad, pastor, officiating.

Beadle died in Orlando, Florida, on October 21. Death was ruled from natural causes. He was born April 20, 1921 in Girard and lived in Dickens County until 1952 when he moved to Lubbock. Retired at the time of his death, he had lived in Charlotte for the past three years.

He was a veteran of World War II where he served in the Army.

Survivors include two sons, Raymond Beadle, Dallas; Ralph Beadle, Lubbock; one daughter, Debbie Fillip, Waco; two brothers, Wayne Beadle, Spur and C.D. Beadle, Amarillo, and eight grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Brandon Beadle, Lane Hechman, Rex Little, Gwyn Beadle, W.B. Steele and Bo Carpenter.

Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home, Spur, in charge of arrangements.
