Myrtle Barlow

Funeral services were held Friday at 10 a.m. in the First Christian Church for Mrs. Myrtle Lee Barlow, 80, Rev. John Nay officiated, assisted by Rev. Norris Taylor.

Mrs. Barlow died in Highland Hosptial, Lubbock on July 31. She had been a resident of the Kent County Nursing Home since June of 1973. She resided in Dickens County from 1919 to 1948 when she moved to Weatherford to make her home.

She was a member of the First Christian Church, Weatherford.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Fred Neaves, Jr., Spur; a son, K.C. Hefner, Clovis, NM; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. One daughter, LaNell Hefner is deceased.

Pallbearers included J.B. Morrison, Erick Swenson, Olney Walker, Don Morrison; Earnest Kearney; and Herman Bostick.

Burial was in the Spur Cemetery.
