Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church Spur, for Helen Ruth Augustine, 48. Rev. Howard Marcom, church pastor officiated.
Mrs. Augustine died in a Lubbock hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Spur, and had lived here most of her life. She was office manager for Cap Rock Telephone Co. where she had been employed for a number of years. She was a member of the Methodist church.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Lee, Spur; one sister, Mrs. Winifred Hurst, Friona.
Burial was in the Spur Cemetery.
