J.W.Anderton Died Thursday Morning In Spur

J.W. Anderton died Thursday morning at his home in Spur after a protracted illness of many months, the remains being interred in the Spur cemetery, the ceremonies being conducted by Odd Fellows.

Dad Anderton lost his eye sight several years ago, and during the past year or more he has been confined to his room and bed, suffering of high blood pressure, about ten days ago he became critically ill, and for the past week death has been fully expected.

Dad Anderton came to Spur at the opening of the town. He had no relatives in this section and little is known of his family. He was a good man.
