Services for Jim Bello Wyatt, 89, of Spur were Sunday, January 11, 1998 at the Hwy 70 Church of Christ in Spur. Don Avaritt officiated. Services were under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home, Spur.
Mr. Wyatt died Friday, January 9, at the Crosbyton Hospital.
Mr. Wyatt was born May 22, 1908 in Madison County, Texas. He lived most of his life in Kent and Dickens Counties. He married Robbie Martin February 5, 1932 in Dickens. He was a farmer and a member of the Church of Christ. He was a Kent County Commissioner for eight years and served on the Girard School Board for twenty years. He also served on the Dickens Electric Coop Board for ten years and the Kent County ASCS Board for thirteen years.
Survivors include Robbie Wyatt, Spur; three sons, Dr. Jim Wyatt, Carrollton; Wayne Wyatt, Lubbock; Nig Wyatt, Spur; one daughter, Sharon Hendricks, Christiansburg, Virginia; two sisters, Mable Holloway, Spur; Christine Hunt, Prior, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
Grandsons were pallbearers.
